Best Remortgage Deals
When your mortgage comes to the end of its preferential rate your monthly payments will usually change, and most likely increase. To make sure your finances are working efficiently and to ensure you are on the best mortgage rate possible you should have a remortgage rate check.
Lenders frequently change the rates they offer and every week a different lender will be offering the best mortgage rates available. As a mortgage brokers Emerald Finance also have access to preferential rates that are not available to the general public and can save £££'s in interest.
Generally if you are reverting to a lenders standard variable rate then you should be able to get a better deal.
Compare the best deals available on our 'Search The Market' function. Alternatively contact us and one of our independent mortgage advisers will check which schemes you would be eligible for, and explain the benefits of each of the schemes available.
It's also worth noting that when you remortgage, if you have sufficient equity on your home, you may be able to raise additional funds. This can be for home improvements, as a deposit for a buy to let property, for a one off purchase like a car, or a variety of other purposes. Speak to one of our advisers for more information.
You may also use the remortgage process as an opportunity to either reduce or extend your mortgage term. If you have disposable income you can save thousands in interest by paying off your mortgage faster. If you need to reduce payments it may be possible to extend the term, but you will need to be aware that this will cost more over the longer term.
YOUR HOME MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP PAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE.
